Mr. Morrison is one of the founding partners of Collective Minds, LLC. He brings a global and seasoned perspective to the consulting services of Collective Minds with his more than 25 years of marketing and management experience. He has lived, worked and traveled throughout the world, including the United States, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Joe owned a highly successful multi-unit business for over 15 years, where he applied hands-on management of the finances, advertising, marketing, production, new site locations, new product development and wholesale operations. Prior to that, he worked both domestically and internationally in sales and marketing management positions for the automotive industry. He has coordinated and appeared in major international auto and trade shows, and has had extensive practical experience in both training and motivational venues around the world.
Most recently with the Collective Minds, LLC group, he has served as the Associate Director of both the Capital Area Health Alliance (CAHA) and the Michigan Universities Coalition on Health (MUCH), both of which are Health Care Coalitions. In the past several months Morrison has served as an interim Executive Operations Manager of an International Services Company with headquarters in Troy, Michigan as well as an Interim Operations Manager of a prestigious Golf and Country Club as they rearranged the management staff. As the Interim Managing Directors we were responsible for not only the day to day programs but also strategic planning for these operations.
Mr. Morrison has also managed to serve on many boards including stints as President of the Board of Hurley Regional Medical Center, Downtown Development Authority Board , Genesee County Planning Commissioner, Flint District Library Board Treasurer, Chairman of Flint Golf Club, and numerous other boards and committees. 

 

Pam Morrison, Consultant

Social Services Professional/Court Appointed Domestic Supervision

Pam Morrison has spent over 25 years working with the State of Michigan and local Court systems working to enhance and protect the lives of our local citizens. She has served in various management postions with the State of Michigan in the Department of Social Services until she took an early retirement to pursue other opportunities.

Ms. Morrison has also previously served as a Manager and then the Managing Director of a local childrens non-profit. Pam has also been involved with various retail operations during the past several years. 

Collective Minds is pleased to have Pam join our group as she has brought a life time of experience and committment to some of the social needs of the community. Ms. Morrison is currently working with the local Court system to provide surpervised visiting and reports with families involved in domestic disputes with children and their families. Collective Minds has a long history of working with non profits and government entities in a variety of social and health care efforts and this just continues our committment to helping the community with these issues. 

Qamar Ahsan-President
Aerotrain Corporation

Electrical / Mechanical Engineer

Qamar designs and develops a variety of electrical and electromechanical equipment systems in response to various customer’s unique needs and requirements.
Aerotrain manufactures training equipment and provides consulting services to Aeronautical University Programs and Educational Training Institutions around the world. Qamar has also developed business development strategies for engineering products and services. He is also a trainer of Aviation Electronics, Radar, Autopilot, Aircraft Propeller and Landing Gears. Aerotrain has also developed a set of unique aircraft maintenance Computer Based Training (CBT) modules for schools, governments and military units around the world.

John C. Foster, Partner

RCDD/LAN Specialist

Mr. Foster has over 25 years experience in telecommunications technologies. He has designed and managed the installation of local, statewide and regional telecommunications systems. He has an in-depth knowledge of both premise and central office based systems including Ethernet, ATM and Sonet networks as well as ISDN, Centrex, VoIP, Voice Mail, Packet Switched Data and OSP/Premise wiring system design. John and his staff at Convergent Technology Partners are currently involved in numerous governmental and educational technology projects. These projects include the consulting and design of telecommunications technology for over 150 school and government facilities. Mr. Foster also provides instruction on LAN/WAN technologies and buiding wiring/estimating strategies to telephone company personnel as well as our extensive client base.
Before Convergent, Mr. Foster has served as the President of CommCorp Technology Services an IT company that was involved design and installation services for voice, data and video systems in Michigan, California and Oregon. Mr. Foster also served as Vice President of TeleCommunication Engineers, Inc. and in addition was an Account Executive for Michigan Bell/Ameritech handling IT and computer designs. Martin C. Thomas, Partner

Marketing & Operations Management

Mr. Thomas is responsible for the marketing and operations activities at Convergent Technology Partners. He is focusing on the expansion of the client base and increasing the market penetration of the education, commercial and healthcare lines of business. Convergent has recently been certified as a Minority Owned Business Enterprise by the Michigan Minority Business Development Corporation.
Marty’s technological, managerial and business experience spans over three decades. He has been involved in personnel administration, transportation management, data processing management, large scale project management, education technology and business management. He has worked from the Mid West to the East Coast and back to Genesee County, in a variety of positions with increasing responsibilites in first in the transportation industry and the majority of his adult life in the education arena, and finally in the private sector with Convergent Technology Partners.
Mr. Thomas spent over 25 years with the Flint Public Schools rising to the Manager of IT and Data Processing. He was instrumental in creating the GenNet, this is a fiber network that provides internet, intranet, distance learning classrooms, and administrative applications for twenty-one (21) school districts in Genesee County.
Marty also served as the Executive Director of Technolgy and Information Management Systems for the School District of the City of Pontiac. He left that position to take advantage of the opportunies available at Convergent Technology Partners where he eventually became a managing partner, and has been able to contribute extensively to their recent successes. www.ctpartners.net

Bill Loiacano, President & CEO

Bill founded the company in 1991 to better service some key clients in Northern Michigan with their logistics and procurement needs.Today, SPI is a leader in logistics and procurement solutions for a number of companies. Bill oversees the strategic direction of the company as it transitions from a procurement supplier to a full service technology services provider. Bill is also a former member of the Rick Inatome organization, Inacomp Computer Centers. Inacomp provided the unique expertise that many members of his management team share today, as several of them were also part of the Inatome organization.
Bill has constantly been acknowledged as a sales leader and has received numerous awards from IBM, Inacomp and Apple Computer for achieving 100+ percent increases in sales. During his tenure at Inacomp, under the direction of Rick Inatome, he helped to drive the organization to national prominence. Bill opened and managed more than 17 stores for the company and was responsible for all the P & L, human resources and inventory management.
Bill has taken SPI from a concept and idea to a survivor in the information technology services industry. His vision, professionalism, experiences and leadership have given SPI Innovations Incorporated the necessary energy and creativity to move forward into the 21st century.
In addition to his business life, Bill works tirelessly for his beliefs and causes including “Team Challenge Worldwide” and “St. Peter & Paul Church”. Kevin Radde, Vice President-Operations

As the Vice President of Operations, Kevin manages the day to day operations of SPI. Kevin is also responsible for SPI’s Logistics and Procurement Solutions for all of their clients. His primary focus is customer relationship management via a continuous contact and dialogue with key accounts for the company. He works on special projects with select accounts, including a Fortune 100 company, in selling services and providing procurement services.
Prior to joining SPI, Kevin gained extensive experience with several corporations which focused on customer support. Kevin deeply enjoys working with people. Customer satisfaction is one of SPI’s strengths and Kevin has taken a lead role in this “High Touch” method of managing our client relationships. He enjoys making a difference and views each opportunity to interact with our clients as a chance to add value to the relationship. He has received several awards for his sales and customer service. Paul A. Fuhs, Ph.D.-Senior Advisor

Dr. Fuhs has spent his entire career in the health care industy as a Senior Executive at nationally recognized HMO and also with a highly regarded regional medical center.
Dr. Fuhs, started his health care career at Hurley Regional Medical Center, where he rose through the ranks at the 500-bed teaching and regional referral medical center located in Flint, Michigan. He began his career as the Director of Management Services, and progressed with greater administrative responsibilities until he was named the Associate Hospital Director. This position was essentially the COO and he handled many of operating functions of the medical center.
Paul was hired by Healh Plus of Michigan, a 200,000 member not for profit mid-Michigan health plan to serve as their Chief Operating Officer where he was responsible for the complete management operations of the company. After 2 years, he was named President & CEO of Health Plus a postion he held for almost a decade. Paul was the catalyst that brought national attention and numerous awards to both himself and the Health Plus organization for customer service, community service and corporate excellence
Dr. Fuhs, has Bachelor of Science and Engineering, Master of Science and Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He has held board leadership positions for several healthcare and industry and community organizations. He is a former President of the Michigan Association of Health Plans, the Michigan Health and Hospital Association, the Greater Flint Health Coalition, the Greater Flint Area Focus Council, the United Way of Genesee County, the Tall Pine Council-Boy Scouts of America and Baker College.
